∵ The Registry was founded in March l990 under the leadership of Shanghai Academy of Science & Technology and Administration Office of Shanghai Technical Market.

∵ Main Responsibility
It will issue registration certificates after attestation and registration of the technical contract. The party concerned may enjoy relevant preferential policies of the State and the Municipality with the certificate.

∵ Since l992, the Registry has been honored every year the "Advanced Collective" of the management of Shanghai technica1 contracts and was awarded the "Technical Market Gold Bridge Prize" twice issued by the State Scientific & Technological Commission. Units registered every year at the Registry reach over l70. Since its establishment, the attested contracts have attained over 50,000 with a total amount coming to over RMB 7 billion Yuan, occupying a leading position in the city.
